STEP 2

To process you claim d provide the following information:

  • Police FIR required.
  • In case of theft, third party damage, injury, death or major accident.
  • Please report the matter to the nearest police station and obtain a copy of the FIR.

In case of accident/ damage outside Delhi:

  • Please contact the nearest office of your insurance company  or
  • Inform the Delhi Regional Office of the Insurance Company and send intimation letter.
  • If it's a major damage it is advisable to get a spot survey done with the help of the nearest Insurance Office.
STEP 3

To Process your claim do provide the following information:

  • On bringing the car to the workshop during working hours 9.30 AM to 06.00 PM on all working days of the week with following documents should be available with you.
  • Original Registration Certificate.
  • Valid Driving License of the person who was at the wheel at tie time of accident.
  • Original Insurance Policy / Cover Note.
  • Copy of FIR, if lodged.

The following action will be taken by Rana Motors.

  • Preparation of accident /damages repair estimate to convey to insurance co /Surveyor.
  • Call Surveyor from insurance company or to use own panel.
  • To Assist Surveyor to take photograph and asses the loss.
  • Start repair job at the earliest possible.
STEP 4

When your car is completed from the repairs.

  • Once Surveyor inspects (if requested) the customer is informed for taking delivery.
  • The bill of repairs / REPLACEMENT IS PREPARED AS FAR AS IN SERIATIM OF ESTIMATE. 
  • The assessed amount of loss will be paid by the customer in Cash or Demand Draft.
STEP 5

How to receive the insurance claim directly.

  • Customer (Registered Owner and Insured) deposits the following duly counter signed, in original to the Insurance company. 
  • Bills of repair.
  • Receipt of payment issued by Rana Motors.
  • Salvage deposit receipt to obtain from Rana Motors.
  • Sign the discharge Voucher, Affixed with a revenue stamp.
STEP 6

In case of theft - do the following:

  • Immediately lodge FIR with Police Station give the following:
    • Registration No. of the Vehicle.
    • Engine Number and Chassis Number.
       
  • Write a letter to the Insurance Company and RTO.
  • Extend full cooperation to insurance investigator for concluding as well as in arriving at the market value of the stolen vehicle.
  • If vehicle remains untraced, obtain an untraced report from the Police, get it authenticated by the investigator of the Insurance company.
  • After advise of insurance company arrange the transfer of RC in favor of Insurance company, surrender both keys of car and letter of subrogation.
